lack of trust....

so why is it that parents seem to have a lack of trust and judgement in their kids...

really? it seems like most parents are somewhat hypocrites... take mine for example..

don't get me wrong i love them to death but some days really i just don't get them. so every college/university student has some debt, unless their parents are loaded and got them through school without the kid ever working for their money.

anywho... i have debt and my parents found out... that in itself was drama that doesn't need to be told but now that they know anytime i sit in my room and look like i'm thinking they think i'm up to something bad.

for example literally like 5 mins ago i was looking through my planner to see what was coming up and to check scheduling days and all that so i can plan my life and my dad mumbled something and my mom was like, waht are you doing? doing calculations in your head for something>

okay seriously ppl i'm old enough to handle my own shit and i dont need you too to stand behind me and see everything i do in my room. hence why its called MY ROOM... if i'm on the computer they come up behind me to see what im doing... like haven't they ever heard of privacy...

its very annoying...

so to all your parents out there, please keep some trust in your kids... some times we don't wanna be with you and we wanna do our own thing and jsut cause we are in our room doesn't mean we are always up to no good...

events coming up

i love to schedule my days and weeks and all that jazz... i like being organized and having a list of things that need to be done and giving myself a time frame to do it in...

but one things that i don't like doing is scheduling time for me and anthony. this leads to me feeling like crap cause i like spending tons of time with him but lately it seems we spend more time togethe working on the company and what not then having dates.

we have decided that from now we are going to have mini dates to keep from going nuts and that way we dont get bored and end up watching tv all the time...

so far from now til the end of september we have much to do lol... first and foremost is the gift show yay! after that are a few bridal shows to check out competitors and what is out there in terms of tying the knot.. then we have some fashion shows for me...

plus we have the cne and movies and dinner dates and all that fun stuff and hopefully another weekend or at least a day at the cottage in the water again... i love that hammock...

k i gotta stop thinking of the cottage or im gonna lose the steam that i have produced to keep moving forward and be productive...

k off to bed.. today will be a long and hard day but i plan on remembering the good times with my grandma and just being with my mom during this tough time.

Yay to summer and updating blogs in the backyard under a sun shade

It has been hot and humid and sunny and well except for the somewhat unbearable afternoons, this summer is awesome!

It reminds me of california which just makes me miss my cousin and adorable goddaughter even more.

needless to say i have been keeping super busy with many a project and things. work is going great, anthony is working hard at his new job... lets see

our invitation company has definitely picked up a bit.. we got two orders for two cool couples and one was bigger than the other.

our first order was for an ex coworker of mine that i still am somewhat in touch with.. hers was a small order. the second order was for a couple that susan encountered at a michaels and gave them our number and well their order is done and they will be spreading the word about us to all their friends and family.

yay!

we are definitely looking forward to more orders and i think we found a niche by providing completely personalized, couple inspired and designed ideas. yay!

What else hmmmm... it will be a year on saturday that my grandma passed away.. its hard to believe that it has been a year already.... i definitely miss her and wish she was still with us but i know she is with us always watching down from heaven.

there are many things that me and anthony will be doing this summer when we find the time. i will try to update more often and include pics...

stupid G20 summit

My lovely city of toronto has been destroyed by stupid ppl who have no life and who decide to protest, and half of them if not more don't even know what they are protesting.

How dare you chant "whos streets?, our streets" and then go and destroy street fronts and break windows of stores and spray paint windows...

if you really have so little of a life that you must make the lives of hard working people into hell, then you all deserve to spend 16 hours in a small little cage of a detention centre... you deserve a beating of a lifetime...

i understand people want to protest against the government but some of the violence and stupidity is unnecessary...

you bitched that the government spent a billion dollars on extra security and police, well guess what you proved the government right cause you acted like idiots and made the police a necessity.

Thank you for ruining the city and giving toronto the beautiful a very bad facelift!

blogging is definitely not my strong point

wow, its been pretty much a month since i have blogged...

yeah definitely been busy and well some days just plain lazy lol.

Life has been hectic and i have enjoyed the majority of it... but i definitely wish i had a couple more hours in a day or better yet, some more privacy and time to myself to do stuff without it being after midnight...

really there is only so much a person can do after a certain time... anyway...

work is going well, my schedule changed a bit which kinda sucks but at least i still have my hours... plus i get to train a newbie which is always sort of fun... what else hmmm, been working super hard to get the company off the ground and we ahve finally started working on our website, but getting around to doing samples is gonna be hard...

anth has a job interview and we never know what his schedule is til the week of which is kinda annoying, and my schedule is now set and well sometimes it conflicts with anthonys.. there is only so much we can do in a couple of hours of seeing each other plus we have so many other things to do...

needless to say life is insane and this is definitely when i wished i had my own place so i could just do my own thing on my own time without having to be interuppted or have to please other ppl...

i do hate working on stuff so late and then during the day i have to help my folks and when i do get a chance to be on the computer, i get called to do other things or i have to get ready for work and don't have enough time....

i definitely gotta get more productive when i do have time or else nothing is gonna get done...

so thats my blog and vent for now... stay tuned

I can hardly believe we are days away from being in the month of may... goodness that went by super fast...

Many a fun thing is coming up... we have dinner at anths sisters house, a rock musical to go watch, mothers day, and every wkd that its nice out lol... i love when the sun shines for longer than like 5 hrs lol...

Wow!

I need to start trying to update this thing more often... I definitely need more hours in a day or i need to start scheduling blogging time.

My little sis in law to be Daniela's bday was a couple days back... we took her out during march break and treated her to some books and yummy crepes and it was a lot of fun hanging out with her... here are some pics from that day

Oh yeah.. me and anthony along with his cousins meagan and chrissy got the honours of chaperoning Danielas bday party with her friends... i straightened her hair and just watched over stuff and she was super happy i was there and i have realized that she really listens and takes any advice to heart so its awesome knowing i have that affect on her... its like the little sister i never had...

Next recent event is that anthonys hockey team won their division championship... it was a great game and i sort of lost my voice after yelling at them so much lol..

Finally Easter!

Wow that was a feast and half... on good friday we went to anth's house and had dinner there with lots of yummy dessert, on saturday we stayed at my house for easter dinner... Normally we do lunch/dinner on easter sunday but my brothers were all going their different ways so we settled on saturday.

Again WAY too much food and yummy desserts. On Easter sunday i went to mass with my folks and then went to anthonys grandmas house and that was another feast... we have so much chocolate and yummy treats for a long long time.

slight frustration

*sigh*

this will be a slight venting blog yet again... lol sometimes you just need one..

so today i decided to stay home cause my dad needed to run some errands and needed my help... i figured that the errands would be done pretty quickly and then we would come home and I could at least get some researcing done for IASW...

apparently not, it started off at one place, then he couldn't make up his mind, and then they needed to buy more things which resulted in walking around the store for a while, then they decided to head to walmart which is a supercentre in our area, so we did grocery shopping and random walking around..

by the time we got home, had a late lunch and unpacked all the bags, it was late late afternoon and i had no time to do anything....

the worse part was that i just turned on my computer and was checking email and my mom was yelling at me to home and help her with dinner... needless to say by the time i was done helping out with everything, i had about 45 mins before dinner was gonna be served... so basically i got my emailed checked, facebook checked and read a few stories regarding the olympics and that was it...

frustration!

finally i have some time after getting home from having some time with my boyfriend and watching his hockey game to get stuff done and yup you guessed it, its 1:00 am... and im getting sleepy..

i really do hate unproductive days

Happy Valentines and Family Day

can you feel the love in the air???

k maybe thats the flurries hitting your face but either way, its valentines weekend, and for me and anthony our 1 year anniversary... can you believe it has been one full year!

its crazyness... here in canada we are celebrating family day which i believe in the states is presidents day...

best part bout family day is that i am off from work... but of course i have so many things to try and do that i never really get a day off...

so back to valentines..

me and anth started our day off with a huge bouquet of 12 carnations(one for each month we have been together), 3 gerber daisys(my favorite flower) and 1 white rose(which was the first flower i got from anth, last valentines and to symbolize one year) for valentines. he is very thoughtful.





then we headed to milestones for lunch which was yummy! and after headed to a portuguese bakery to have some dessert and coffee... we followed that up with opening a ton of gifts and that being said i can finally say what his anniversary gift was... a one year scrapbook that i made! it was so hard to do cause we have done soooooo much this year.. its crazy..








i got a ton of stuffed animals, a necklace, and lots of little stuff that was super cool... we both got each other pretty much the same stuff as our first year just in smaller version.. i got him a hedgehog and a very similar vday card, and he got me the white rose and a baby turtle to match the momma one he gave me last year...














yup we are nerds and soooooooooooo in love hahahaha....

venting blog

*sigh*

so this blog is gonna be all about me venting out some frustrations about life lol...

really i could go on and on and on and on but i won't. I'm just going to vent about hte ones that are really bothering me.

First and foremost i hate money! I understand that it is needed to get by and live but holy crap it can seriously do some damage to a persons mental health.

Lately it seems that more money is going out than in and it is just beyond frustrating. First my boyfriends brakes were all screwed up, there goes that money, then birthdays and christmas, there goes more money and then the transmission goes...

they say bad things happen in threes and we had 3 bad things happen so now i'm hoping that we are out of the woods, but of course knowing our luck who knows...

I am trying to stay positive and work around everything and make sure that things run as smoothly as they can all considering but some days i just want to give up and say screw it all...

But i have to kep going and I know that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger but good gosh, how much more does a person need to go through to prove that we can be strong... its beyond frustrating...

Hopefully things calm down and we can get It all started with , up on its feet and hopefully get some money coming in to help with things...

*sigh* thats my vent...

time to get back to working and job hunting for myself and anthony.

so many things to do.....

It almost seems like January just flew by... It was only yesterday we were ringing in the new year and here we are already into february and with that being said, i am super stressed lol...

I have so much left to do on anthonys valentines and anniversary present that i have no idea how i am going to finish everything...

I have the hardest part of the anniversary present left to do which is adding all the detailing and well i haven't really started on his valentines day gift.. i have a great idea but again.. i don't think its going to work

SO! needless to say i might have to wait to be inspired again and see what else i can muster together to surprise him with...

plus since the budget is tight i need to ensure that everything is done within budget and doesn't disappoint both anthony or me, especially me since i'm a perfectionist lol

needless to say i have sooooo much to do and i gotta get my butt in gear and get it done...

to add to that, i scored some wicked cool stuff at walmart and the dollar store for scrapbooking and general crafting and i'm stoked to try it all out..

home remedies

So I have found a cure for artistic block, get a cold!

Yup I am sick with a stupid runny/stuffy nose, but the best part is that my artistic block is gone and I have some great ideas for anthony's valentines gift..

Plus on top of that, i have finished the overall idea of his anniversary gift, now comes the fun and harder part of adding details and finishing it off... that always seems like such little things to be done, yet its the hardest part to do...

I am thrilled that i finally know what i wanna do for valentines day gift but i hate this stupid cold.. its an annoying catch 22!

bad timing...

If there is one thing I hate it is ARTISTIC BLOCK!

So valentines day is coming up and well I have all these greats vague ideas for anthonys presents and what not, beside the large thing I am trying to finish off for him and i went to the dollar store and found all these cute things...

Problem is that I had some vague but decent ideas to run with and now that i'm actually looking at what i got and thinking bout it, I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT I WANTED TO DO!

like i'm stuck, nothing is coming to me... i hate this... i need to find some inspiration and soon or else i'm gonna be rushing and I hate that...

I want to make sure that everything is planned out and made to almost perfection... if its too perfect it looks like someone else made it lol...

I am hoping that if i work on the anniversary gift, my ideas for his valentines day gift will come back to me

argh, its so nerve racking...

finding time to breathe....

So life has picked up again, and it seems I am back in the fast lane and have to keep going...

Everything is fine, really... its just i can start to see that i may be getting pulled in a few different directions in the coming months and even though I am use to it, it still sucks lol...

I am still trying hard to finish off my boyfriends anniversary gift and hopefully i will feel a little bit better once that is done.. right now i'm about half way done, but it half way of the bigger stuff, after i finish that i have to do all the little detailing that everyone knows is what makes the finished product amazing...

either way i know it will be done by the dead line and that everything else will work out but you know, its just human nature to freak out slightly until things even themselves out...

Blog time..

I have found some time to update my blog, which i guess i don't feel too bad about cause i haven't really done much to blog about...

I hung out with anth a few times and went to watch his hockey game, he got a goal and scored it with his new hockey stick that i wrote all over lol...

Let's see, the biggest thing was that I finally got to spend a full day with my lil sis in law to be Daniela... we took her with us to run a few errands and then took her out for lunner (time between lunch and dinner) and then we all went to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks. It was a lot of a fun and I think she really liked hanging out with me.
