Enough rain....

So i'm definitely in need of sun... it has been raining non stop and it's definitely making me lose my marbles...

the good news is that i've been making some good lead on wedding planning.. we have our hall, we now know which church that we are interested in, we have our main photography choice picked out, our invitations are pretty much decided...

really most couples at this time don't even know where to begin but i have been doing my research and well i think i am doing well so far...

plus we are on budget.. we made sure to maintain our budget in all our picks and if we do decide to go over budget on something, we cut it out from somewhere that doesn't need as much.

really i don't understand how ppl go like ten of thousands of dollars over their budget... why on earth do you need to come in on a helicopter or have dancers at your wedding... ppl can pay for tickets to go see that at a show in toronto... seriously spend your money on something like a house....

anyway thats my rant for now..

Rainy day blues

I hope the weather is better on your end of blog land wherever you are...

we have had a rained out weekend, which is fine by me since it matched my mood and the fact that i had an annoying cold all wkd.

i hope its on its way out along with the rain but i am definitely drinking plenty of fluids and blowing my nose... lol

this weekend my mom and i attended my cousins fiancees bridal shower and well i was unimpressed.. does anyone else hate the stupid games that they have started coming up...

the shower seemed to drag and drag and drag cause of all the stupid games, and some of them have become very sexual... i don't like that at all.. games like that are just not needed at the shower...

i know its sort of stupid that i blog about how much i hate these games but being a newly engaged girl i don't want those games at my shower and well i am gonna ensure that they don't happen..

what else can i blog about... well life is going to get busy soon with the beginning of all our planning for the wedding... but really i'm not that stressed because we know what we want and we have our budget and well we are gonna damn well stick to it...

Insane month of april

April was a busy lil month for me...

Two very important things happened... my boyfriend proposed so i am not an officially engaged woman lol

and secondly my amazing cousin and cute as cute can be goddaughter came to visit from california...

so it has been a whirl wind month of planning for the trip and then the shocker of the proposal and showing family the city and all the sights to see..and well needless to say... me and my laptop didn't see much of each other but i wouldnt have had it any other way...

now life gets even more busy than it was before with the beginnings of wedding planning... the good thing is that i am super organized most of the time and i can get things done quickly so i'm not too stressed out about the wedding..

i am sad that my cousins left but i know she will be coming back since she is my matron of honour and the whole family is involved with the wedding party in one way or anther...

other than that i am gonna be working my lil butt off...

i promised to try to update more often as i have more things to talk about and will be spending lots of time on the computer researching for many o wedding things.

Greetings...

Wow i can't believe its been over a month that i haven't blogged.

I really suck at this... things have been crazy. i have been working like a mad woman at both jobs and been trying to get things done for the visiting family and well i'm kinda drained...

i have to admit that i have become a bit of a procrastinator and have become a tad lazy... i usually am not like this and i think i need to shake it off... my memory is starting to become shot also and that i don't like..

i am pleased to say that work is going well and we have gotten a lot done... i wish i could get more done but every now and again i get artistic block or i come up with something and i just don't like it when i get into it...

i am too much of a perfectionist i guess..

anywho.. i gotta go and organize my life a bit more and start planning stuff..

i promise i will try to keep up more often and use this blog as i intended

Mini Vent

I won't usually be doing this but i do have a bit of a vent out....

Why are parents both overly curious and at the same time annoying?

I decided to work from home today... its great cause i can work in our very bright kitchen and then i can relax and eat as many yummy healthy snacks as i want...

there is always one thing that stops me from doing more work at home.. that would be my mom... my dad not as much but my mom is more curious than the cat that got killed by curiousity.

I have literally been sitting at my computer for about 20 mins at this point and she decided to sweep and vacuum the area around the kitchen and then beat some rugs outside and that means she has to walk by me to get to the front door... she has done this hovering business the whole time...

i love her but this is why i stay in my bedroom when i wanna do some work cause at least there i can close the door and get some more work done...

its very frustrating and slightly counter productive...

back to trying to get some work done...

yeah i pulled another disappearing act... its starting to become the norm for me... life gets crazy and well the blog kinda gets lost on the back burner at the very very very back... lol

i have been a busy girl working like crazy... i even worked on a day that should have been a holiday here.. called family day and the mall i work at is stupid enough to be open... so i had a to deal with a lot of crazy ppl... luckily ppl were nice but it was busy and i worked alone...

i have been working hard on IASW and have just been trying to get my footing again... i have been kinda all over the place and feeling frazzled..

there are only a lil over 2 months til my cousin and goddaughter come to visit and i am super thrilled. i definitely need to see my cousin and just relax...

other than that life is pretty much the same... i am making a ton of plans and have soo many ideas that i need to get out...

see you in another months time lol... hopefully not

~brain is tired~

forgive me if this post makes no sense but i thought i would owe it to blog land to post something even though its been like 22 days...

i have been busy and kinda lazy to do things that aren't at the top of my to do list that is like 20 miles long... hence the lack of blogs...

i have come up with some crazy great ideas for IASW so i have been busy searching and planning and designing and yeah...

i have also been working like a crazy lady.. for example this week i am working 6 days in a row cause i was nice to cover for my bosses mom so she could go away for a 2 days to celebrate her bday... yet when i asked for a sunday during christmass off to go see the ballet with my mom and anthony they said no cause they had a bday party to go to... yes i am still bitter about that...

only reason why i said yes was the money... i lost 2 days of work when sick with laryngitis and bronchitis...

the best news i think that i got that will make my entire year is that my cousin and my goddaughter are coming to canada to visit... yay!

super stoked..i have soooo many plans...

anyway thats pretty much it... oh and i lost 5 pounds.. i know random but thats what happens when you brain is tired and you wanna keel over in your chair but then you would hit your head on hardwood and that would hurt...

k i'm gonna go to bed
